Kevin Durant picks the two greatest players of all time
Kevin Durant has been compared to LeBron James for being the best player in the league currently.
KD’s superior three point shooting sometimes helps tilt the scales in his favour(according to KD fans), but for LeBron fans, James’ overall presence on the court makes him the best player in the world at the moment(or maybe of all time).
The LeBron vs Jordan debate has been going on for sometime now, with divided opinions all around the NBA fraternity

Some say that the game wasn’t as tough in Jordan’s time as it is at the moment, while others feel that Jordan’s success ratio and overall impact is unparalleled.
But for Kevin Durant, who himself is gunning for a spot in that GOAT debate, Kobe Bryant too makes the cut for the greatest off all time.
While Kobe has had some immense success with the Lakers, he is often not spoken about in the same breath as LeBron and Michael Jordan.
But KD sees things differently. For KD the way Jordan and Bryant have gone about their basketball, their style of play and their championships, they have to be the two greatest basketball players of all time.
“But watching Kobe and Mike, I’m like, ‘How do you not realize how good these dudes are?’ How do you not say they’re by far better than anybody who’s played the game? Just by the way they move, how fluid they are.” Durant said.
“Kyrie is younger than me, and that’s one of my best friends, so I watch his stuff. I get to play with Steph [Curry] every day, so I know his game inside and out” he added.
KD termed the duo as masters and geniuses and compared them to Albert Einstein, Beethoven and even Barack Obama.

He also admitted to showing anyone who came to his house a clip of Michael Jordan and his best plays.
“Everybody that comes to my house, whether it’s friends or family, I make them watch Jordan highlights. This is equivalent to (Albert) Einstein … fucking (Ludwig van) Beethoven … or (Barack) Obama.
“This is the greatest talent and athletes and minds of the world. Just because they play sports, people think one way. But they’re masters, they’re geniuses. I just started realizing that a few years ago: Watching those guys can really spark my creativity.” the Warriors man said.
Fans might find it weird that KD did not include LeBron in the GOAT debate, but may be he just wanted to speak about the retired players.
But the retired players category wasn’t the reason for KD’s judgement, because then went onto include Kyrie in his answer too. Probably for KD, players who make the sport look easy and graceful is the criteria for selection who the GOAT is.
