Kimi Raikkonen’s adorable ‘ice cubes’ post for his kids
Kimi Raikkonen is enjoying his off time with his family back home whilst also preparing for his next challenge with Sauber.
The Iceman as Kimi is fondly called, made the decision to join Sauber for two seasons so as to continue in F1 after Ferrari decided to let him go.
Kimi, who is still Ferrari’s last world champion had to make way for young star Charles Leclerc, who managed to land his dream Ferrari seat only in his second season in F1.
Kimi, a motorsport nut, decided that he did not want the Ferrari rejection to play with his passion for motorsport, and hence decided to delve into this new and exciting project with his boyhood team Sauber.
F1 fans all over the world were ecstatic to hear that Kimi would be continuing in F1, as the news of his departure from Ferrari had hit his fans quite hard.
While F1 fans love watching Kimi race on track, his behaviour off the track is something that has earned him a lot of accolades too.
In an era where drivers crave for media attention and behave in a way that is expected of them, Kimi holds his own.
He takes a no-nonsense approach when it comes to dealing with the media and stays his normal self.
Now, the Iceman would have been the last driver to inculcate social media in his everyday life, but thanks to his wife, who documents a lot of the life of the ‘Raikkonens’ on social media, Kimi too has given into ‘peer pressure’.
The Iceman came up with an adorable post with his kids, calling them ‘Ice cubes’.
It was typical Kimi, and hopefully we see more of this humour in the upcoming season as well.
