KKR vs CSK Dream 11 team Prediction

KKR vs CSK Dream 11 team Prediction: Dream 11 Fantasy Cricket Tips for KKR vs CSK as The SportsRush helps you to form the best Dream 11 team.

Ever since they were re-instated into the Indian Premier League, Chennai Super Kings are on a dream run. All thanks to that brilliant leader of theirs in MS Dhoni. Years have gone by, but that uncanny knack of snatching victory from the jaws of defeat hasn’t left him.

MS Dhoni misses being the leader in the Indian setup and it is evident by how he channelizes all his ‘leadership’ energies for the CSK franchise, one that has given him so much love right from the outset.

CSK seemed to be down and out against RR, but Dhoni once again took them to the brink of victory, with Jaddu and Santner finishing off the job. The match was marred by a moment of madness from captain cool and he has been reprimanded for it.

With the way CSK have been grinding out wins, despite not having the services of Bravo, the signs are ominous for rival teams.

KKR have had a slight blip in their otherwise perfect IPL campaign. Things were clicking for them initially with Andre Russell powering them to 4 brilliant wins, but losses to CSK and DC have derailed their campaign to some extent.

Playing in front of their home crowd, captain Dinesh Karthik would be hoping for the Knight Riders to come back to winning ways at Eden Gardens tomorrow.

KKR vs CSK Dream 11 team Prediction

Wicket-keeper for KKR vs CSK Dream 11

Given the teams involved in Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings, the contest for the wicket-keeper’s position will be fought between both the captains in Dinesh Karthik and Mahendra Singh Dhoni respectively. In the general run of things, Karthik would have been a better Dream11 pick because of him most likely to spend more time in the middle.

However, Karthik scoring 93 runs in seven matches at an average of 18.60 and a strike rate of 116.25 speaks of the otherwise this season.

Therefore, Dhoni’s current form has forced me to pick him ahead of Karthik. The 37-year old cricketer has scored 214 runs in seven matches at an average of 107 and a strike rate of 127.38 including a couple of match-winning half-centuries.

Bowlers for KKR vs CSK Dream 11

As repetitive as it may sound, it is my suggestion to everyone that don’t invest much in bowlers on Dream 11 primarily because of the the prevailing points system. Moreover, with us having the option of picking a couple of bowler from the Top-five highest wicket-takers in IPL 2019, why not?

Chennai Super Kings duo of pacer Deepak Chahar and leg-spinner Imran Tahir have been a revelation for the defending champions this season. The duo have picked up a combined 19 wickets at an average of 16.63, an economy rate of 5.96 and a strike rate of 16.73. Such numbers in the T20 format do nothing but force you to pick them in your Dream11 team.

Due to a budget constraint, I am also picking KKR chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav in my team. Despite him returning with below par figures as of now, one expects someone of his potential to return to form anytime in the tournament.

All-rounders for KKR vs CSK Dream 11

The all-rounder duo which I have picked is the West Indies and Kolkata Knight Riders pair of Sunil Narine and Andre Russell. Having missed KKR’s previous match, the former looks set to be included tomorrow. With him slated to open the batting and also bowl four overs of spin, he is an automatic selection in my Dream11 team.

Talking of Russell, his performance pretty much sums up why he deserves a place in my Dream11 team. Apart from winning matches for KKR on his own, the swashbuckling cricketer has also contributed when the team lost. There is no hiding to the fact that support from the other end could yielded better results for KKR in the matches that they lost.

Batsmen for KKR vs CSK Dream 11

Starting with the hosts, I have picked two batsmen in Robin Uthappa and Nitish Rana. With Russell, Uthappa and Rana in the squad, we have Knight Riders’ Top-three run-scorers this season in our team. Citing their know-how of the home conditions, I utterly back them to punish the Super Kings’ bowlers tomorrow.

It was Chennai Super Kings batsman Ambati Rayudu’s 18th IPL half-century which predominantly aided captain Dhoni to seal the chase against Rajasthan Royals. With the right-hand batsman returning to form, he has it in him to take the attack on the opposition bowlers.

136 runs in seven matches at an average of 19.42 and a strike rate of 112.39 is not which you expect from Suresh Raina in the IPL. While the southpaw hasn’t provided Super Kings with the kind of results that they would have expected, I anticipate that the law of averages to work in Raina’s favour tomorrow.

CSK opening batsman Faf du Plessis also finds a spot in the my Dream11 squad for 29th match of IPL 2019.

Captain – Andre Russell

Vice-captain – Sunil Narine
