KKR vs SRH 2019

KKR vs SRH 2019: Sportsrush presents before you three intriguing player battles ahead of the second match of IPL 2019.

SunRisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders square-off in what promises to be an exciting
contest. Exciting cricket is guaranteed whenever the two heavyweights meet each other, with
both sides featuring global superstars.

With that being said, we look onto a few player battles, that will be most exciting to watch at the
Eden Gardens tomorrow:

Chris Lynn vs Rashid Khan:

Rashid Khan has quickly emerged as one of the best spinners going around in the world at the
moment and has led both his national and league teams to glory. The last time these two sides
met, Rashid Khan stunned KKR with a match-winning 3-19. His scalps included the
swashbuckling opener from Australia, Chris Lynn, who scored 48 in that game.

The 28-year-old has established his name as one of the best openers in the world in the shortest
format of the game and is a treat to watch if he gets going. Despite not being a regular name in
the Australian side, Lynn has proved his capabilities in the Big Bash and the IPL and will be
hoping to continue to entertain the fans. The contest between Lynn and Rashid will be one of the
most exciting to watch, considering the hitting abilities of Lynn and the wizardry of Rashid.

David Warner vs Sunil Narine:

David Warner is returning to the SunRisers Hyderabad squad following a one-year ban due to his
role in the ball-tampering controversy. However, with that being put aside, Warner has brilliant
numbers for SRH in the IPL, leading them to glory in the 2016 IPL season. The left-hander has
scored 381 runs against KKR, and will be a big threat for the KKR unit.

However, one man that will be eager to counter him will be Sunil Narine, who is himself
returning after an injury that ruled him out of the recently-concluded PSL. The veteran off-
spinner has bamboozled many a batsman with his mystery variations over the past few years.
This makes it a must-watch contest between bat and ball with the attacking brilliance from
Warner and the bowling wizardry of Narine.

Robin Uthappa vs Bhuvneshwar Kumar:

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been SRH’s spearhead over the past few years, putting in consistent
performances every season. The Indian pacer has 17 wickets against KKR, which shows that he
takes a liking against the batting line-up of the Knight Riders. His swing and accuracy with the
new ball and his yorkers at the death has helped him develop into a quality limited-overs bowler.

However, leading KKR’s batting line-up over the past few years has been Robin Uthappa, who
has scored 391 runs against SRH. The experienced wicket-keeper batsman has done it all for the
Knight Riders, winning matches on his own with his batting and wicket-keeping brilliance.

Having said that, he will be facing a stern task facing Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who will be hoping to put a
string of good performances to carry into the world Cup in May in England.
