KL Rahul’s cryptic message following endless troll on social media has made fans wondering
KL Rahul has posted a cryptic message on social media following endless trolls.
Indian batsman KL Rahul has been grappling to find his form in the longer format of the game. The 27-year-old, who made his debut in 2014 against the Aussies, has not been smooth sailing in this format over the last two years.
The Men in Blue have won all games in the Caribbean Islands, having won all three-formats of the game. It was merely a walkover for the Indians, but one among them is Rahul, struggling to find his form. The batsman has failed to convert in the test series, with the leading scores of 38 and 44 respectively.
Before the tour to West Indies, the opener also struggled to find his rhythm. He had 12 single-digit scores in the last 24 innings. To look more into it, he has crossed the 17-run mark less than 20 times in 24 innings, which comes as a worry to Virat Kohli. Not into his old form, the batsman has scored just 484 runs at an average of 21.84 over the last two years. Additionally, he lacks longevity, averaging just 35 balls per innings.
The Indian fans have had enough of his average performances and have constantly trolled him on his social media accounts continuously. The opener took the matter in his own hands as he was seen wearing a shirt which read ‘no social media’ and the caption also read ‘the irony’ which has made fans ponder.
Following this tour, India will invite South Africa in the middle of this month. The Men in Blue will take on the Proteas on September 15th in the first T20 at HPCA Stadium, Dharamshala.
