Indian batsman and part of the Kings XI Punjab franchise in the IPL, KL Rahul wants Indian batsmen to be flexible with their batting order ahead of 2nd England T20I.

KL Rahul has been in and out of the Indian team in all the three formats due to various injuries that have occurred to him time and again. However, Rahul his now back to 100% fitness and raring to prove his mettle.

Scoring runs is one thing but scoring them in the manner in which KL Rahul is scoring those runs these days is something extraordinary. KL Rahul is certainly in a league of his own as far as the T20 matches are concerned.

He is scoring consistently and in his own style without playing a single rash shot. Rahul has been able to maintain his strike rate and impress the entire cricketing fraternity.

Ahead of the 2nd T20I against England, Rahul said that though he preferred to bat as an opener he is ‘flexible in his head’ to bat anywhere which suits the team. Rahul said that, “It has been made very clear by Virat and the team management that some changes would be made in the batting order. I am prepared to even bat at five or six. If we get a good start, we can also send MS Dhoni or Hardik Pandya to hit a few sixes and increase the scoring rate.”

Earlier, KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav took India to win in the 1st England T20I. While Kuldeep picked up a sublime fifer, Rahul raced to a classic 101 to take India to a comfortable victory. The Karnataka batsman has now staked claim for a permanent spot in the team and it would be very tempting to play him in every match.
