Kuldeep Yadav on MS Dhoni: The Indian Chinaman comes up with a massive statement on MS Dhoni ahead of the World Cup.

Kuldeep Yadav has been one of India’s premier spinners, who has been around with the Indian national side for quite some time now in the shorter format of the game.
Yadav has been a regular feature in the Indian side, since India’s tour of South Africa in the beginning of the year 2018. A rare Chinaman in modern day Cricket, the reason for his success in such a short span of time, goes to the way he bowls- using his stock delivery, the Googly, and the subtle variations in pace with good effect.
A share of his success though, although a minuscule one, goes to the senior-pro of his team and the man behind the stumps- MS Dhoni. Kuldeep has never been shy of mentioning the crucial role that the former India captain plays while he bowls.
During the many interviews and post-match presentations, he has often credited Dhoni’s quick reading of the match situations and his advises as to where and how to bowl as the reason which has helped him foxing the batsmen.
“There are lot of times he (Dhoni) goes wrong but then you can’t say that to him”, Kuldeep said in jest.

But at the end of the day, even the smartest of minds around can make an error in judgement, and Dhoni is no different.“There are a lot of times he (Dhoni) goes wrong but then you can’t say that to him,” Kuldeep said at the sidelines of the CEAT Cricket Rating Awards which were announced yesterday.

Kuldeep made the above remarks in a light-hearted banter when asked whether he, in any point of time in his career, had questioned the former India World Cup-winning captain about his tips.
Kuldeep however, said that Dhoni is someone who puts forward his views in between overs only when he feels it is required.
“Zyada baat nahi karte woh (he doesn’t speak much). He speaks only between overs if he thinks he needs to point out something,” added Kuldeep.
Yadav has had a forgetful IPL this season, having picked up only 4 wickets in the 9 matches he played, at an average as high as 71.50. Although going through a lean patch, he will be crucial to India’s chances in the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup. He, along with his leggie counterpart in the side, Yuzvendra Chahal are the two frontline leg spinners that have been chosen in India’s 15-men squad for the World Cup.
