TheSportsRush brings Leganes vs Barcelona highlights, as the Catalan giants suffered a shock 2-1 loss.
Barcelona suffered their first La Liga defeat of the season, and only second this year, as they went down to Leganes 2-1 on the sixth league match-day.
Phil Coutinho opened the goal-scoring for Barcelona with a terrific volley, but Leganes came back stronger in the second half.
Mauricio Pellegrino’s side scored two quick goals within the space of 90 seconds to take a shocking 2-1 lead in the tie. Barcelona continued to attack but couldn’t find the net.
For Leganes, Nabil El Zhar scored the first goal in the 52nd minute, and they led through Oscar Rodriguez Arnaiz a minute later. This is Legane’s first win in the current La Liga season. The club is now out of the relegation zone, and is currently 17th in the table.
Lionel Messi made his 700th appearance for FC Barcelona against Leganes, and bagged an assist with a skilful pass to Philippe Coutinho. However, the occasion was marred by the match-result.

Quite staggering, above everything that happened, how weak the response from Barcelona was to going behind. There was no reaction and then they faded badly towards the end. Appalling.

A few days ago, @FCBarcelona wanted to renew Valverde.
Do it now, then.
Aren’t you happy with his work and tactics?

Losing to the last placed team in the league is merely the cherry on top when you remember the worst European embarrassment in Barcelona’s history happened just a few months ago.
What a disgrace.

Sickening match, one that was coming since the team played its first official game this season. It’s all on Valverde, his squad was immensely strengthened this summer, the bench is stacked with depth and he can’t seem to make Barcelona play anything close to respectable football.

There’s a new level of stress only Barcelona fans experience nowadays. Forget school, universities, girls.. it’s a unique stress of its own. And I f*cking hate it.

Barça aren’t winning shit this season.
Barcelona’s senior players are messing up big time, and with a tough schedule coming up, I can only see Barça dropping points.Valverde has no idea what he’s doing, Pique has been shit since the start of the season, Busquets has been poor-

Chelsea, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester City adopted dynamic attacking football while part of Barça’s own fanbase seem to prefer when Mourinho-like setups are bringing results, Barcelona are dangerously close to losing the season under Valverde right now.
