Twenty-two year old German midfielder Leon Groetzka is one of the hottest names on the transfer market right now. Groetzka will see his current contract run out at the end of the summer after which he can walk away for free.

Widely regarded as the best young midfielder in the Bundesliga, Groetzka is on the radar of some of the biggest clubs in the world.

The midfielder is gaining a lot of interest from the Premier League, as the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United are heavily interested in the play maker.

Now the midfielder recently spoke about his intentions as he looks to secure the best for his future.

‘I have to find out for myself what the next step should be. ‘I have to consider a million things. I am a person who is very meticulous in such decisions. I play through all the scenarios. So I need time.

‘There doesn’t exist a deadline, but I think we are in the final phase. ‘The final decision will be made in January.’

‘I think if Schalke had no chance to keep him I would be the first to know that,’ he told SportBild last month. ‘But I haven’t received that kind of information until now.

‘Leon will make a decision soon without us building any pressure on him.’

Both Arsenal and United would benefit greatly from Groetzka as he would provide creativity and goals from midfield. Now we will only have to wait and see where the German decides to go.
