Lionel Messi scored a brilliant goal to give Barcelona a 2-0 lead in the game, and almost sealing the La Liga title.
Barcelona can almost taste the champagne of success in the league now.
The side pulled out another late comeback – this time, for a win, as goals from Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi have all but sealed the side’s second consecutive La Liga title.
Diego Costa’s red card reduced Atletico Madrid to ten men in the game, and Barcelona remained dominant throughout the match. The side was finally rewarded late in the second half with Luis Suarez’s stunning goal.
However, Lionel Messi showed his brilliance once again as he danced past the Atletico Madrid defenders to put the ball past Jan Oblak for the second goal for the side.

Suárez sends Oblak sprawling across his goal and he still couldn’t keep out his effort. And Messi just leaves the big man standing and staring and admiring the ball that’s been sent past him. Magic!
