Lionel Messi proves football is too easy for him as Barcelona training footage goes viral. The Ballon d’Or winner is just on a different level at the moment.

Rival fans were promised that a decline was on the horizon and yet Messi has continued to strive and conquer football just as he did a decade ago. The Barcelona talisman pipped Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk to win his 6th Ballon d’Or to overtake Cristiano Ronaldo’s tally of 5.

Despite having a phenomenal year with Barcelona, where he scored over 50 goals and guided them to a consecutive La Liga as well as the Champions League semi-final and Copa Del Ray final, many questioned the decision. They claimed that Van Dijk deserved the award instead. However, a Barcelona training clip, has once again proved that Messi may very well be the best player to have played the game.

In the video clip, you can see Lionel Messi utterly humiliate his teammates as he makes lightwork of them during the training session. He is seen tearing up at practice with one goal after the other displaying the various tricks in his arsenal.

The most interesting part of the video is how none of the players or Messi himself reacts to the master class that just happened. Perhaps, watching the master at work everyday can make the most exciting of moves look normal overtime. For the fans though, this is exciting news. This is proof that the Argentine still has more than enough gas in the tank.
