Klopp on Jota: “Still in the knee brace, so a few weeks away from team training. Nothing new to say. It takes time.
“No surgery needed but a proper injury. Not a little knock. No real time frame for that.”
On Matip he added: “We will try (to get him fit for Manchester United).
Klopp Reveals Trent Alexander-Arnold Had COVID
Klopp also went onto talk about Trent with the Liverpool boss revealing that the fullback had contracted Coronavirus prior to the onset of the ongoing season.
“If you make people used to that level he’s shown, a game like Southampton was obvious case of not his best.
“He knows that. He has played some good games too. He started, was out with covid then had injury, no pre-season. All these things.”
Liverpool will be facing off against Aston Villa in the third round of the FA Cup. The side will be wishing to overhaul a three match winless run as the team strives to turnaround its dreary form in the domestic tournaments in the country.
