Liverpool Transfer News: Jurgen Klopp to capture Arsenal target this summer to replace Coutinho

Liverpool Transfer News: Jurgen Klopp to capture Arsenal target to replace Philippe Coutinho and add depth to the squad says Liverpool legend.

Liverpool are eyeing to bolster their squad by adding depth to it, in order to vie for the prestigious laurels against their main competitors next season.

Therefore, the Reds, according to a report by the Independent, as per Squawka, Liverpool legend urged Jurgen Klopp to sign Wilferd Zaha to strengthen their squad and replace Philippe Coutinho ahead of the next season.

“Wilfried Zaha is the one I think he [Klopp] should go for,” Aldridge told

“With Daniel Sturridge leaving the club and his huge wages coming off the weekly bill, it opens up the opportunity for Klopp to sign an out-and-out goalscorer who could offer something different if one of the front three is injured or out of form.

“Zaha has given Liverpool some real problems in the last couple of years and Klopp’s ability to turn talents of his type into consistent performers has to make him the kind of player who could thrive at Anfield.”

“None of us have forgotten that Coutinho left Liverpool in a difficult position when he jumped ship mid-way through the season, so we should not give him a simple route back to play for the European champions.

“We all trust Klopp in whatever decisions he makes, but I think adding attacking a top quality attacking option would be the way forward this summer.”

On the other hand, Zaha is set to leave Crystal Palace this summer, as he seeks to add a new challenge in his career, and targeting bigger clubs.

Arsenal are interested in their player as they have limited budget and want to reinforce their squad. Thus, he seems as a viable option to the Gunners.

However, now it seems Liverpool will capture the player, as the Champions league triumph will be a lucrative aspect for the English International.
