Neymar to Man Utd: Solskjaer to sacrifice Manchester United star for Neymar

Neymar to Man Utd: Solskjaer to sacrifice Manchester United star for Neymar according to recent reports and PSG president’s revelations regarding the Brazilian star.

It is no surprise that World Cup winner and Manchester United star Paul Pogba wants to leave the club. United have remained adamant that the Frenchman will stay with the team. However, Pogba has continually flirted with the idea of playing for Real Madrid one day; His recent comments on an Adidas promotional tour of Tokyo where he spoke about looking for a new challenge somewhere else being yet another example.

However, it seems that United could get comfortable with the idea of letting their most expensive player leave Old Trafford now that it has been revealed that PSG are not averse to selling their own most expensive player in Neymar.

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al Khelaifi told France football:

“Things have to be completely different, they will have to do more, work more. They are not here to have fun, and if they do not agree, the doors are open, Ciao!” while adding “I do not want any more star behavior.”

Despite not naming Neymar directly, the message was pretty clear.

United have previously been linked with Adrien Rabiot, Youri Tielemans, Bruno Fernandes and Philippe Coutinho. Now Catalan outlet Sport have named Manchester United among the possible destinations for the Brazilian superstar. If Paul Pogba does leave the club; Neymar with his charisma, marketability and star power can easily fill the Frenchman’s boots.

United cannot offer Neymar any Champions League football this season. However, the Red Devils remain one of the very few clubs in the world that can afford his transfer fees and wage.
