Liverpool Transfer News: Manchester United target declares interest in Liverpool

Liverpool Transfer News: Manchester United target Bruno Fernandes shows interest in Liverpool amid Premier league transfer rumours.

Manchester United are in race for Sporting Lisbon star midfielder Bruno Fernandes and are reportedly planning to make a bid of €70-80 million.

Ole Solskjaer is looking for immediate reinforcements at the club as departure of Ander Herrera and strong speculations of Paul Pogba moving to Real Madrid will leave a void at Red Devils’ midfield. Thus, making 24-year-old a required target for Manchester United.

On the other hand, Manchester City are also interested to hire the services of the Portuguese International to make necessary replacements .

However, in recent advancements, according to a report by Portuguese media, he has shown preference towards Jurgen Klopp’s style of play. Giving a setback to their arch-rivals.

He is quoted as saying: “I like Liverpool a lot more (than Manchester City). It’s a more direct (style of play), more offensive, maybe less organised, but more intense football. When you do not have the ball possession, you are more intense.

Fernandes added: “City, without the ball, has the intensity of the eleven, and can in a moment of pressure put the [opposing] team in a corner and end up stealing the ball.

“In Liverpool they are more individual players, especially in the midfield, usually playing three very aggressive players and recovering the ball.

“Then they have three players at the front who are lethal when they have the opportunity, the difference, as seen in this last game (against Barcelona).” he further said.

The player has aroused interest of several top clubs after giving sensational performances for the Portuguese club this season. Sporting Lisbon are demanding €100 million for the Portuguese International.

However, Liverpool as of now have not made any proposal for the player, but this statement can draw interests from Jurgen Klopp.
