Liverpool Transfer News: Real Madrid’s bid for Mohammed Salah gets turned down

Liverpool Transfer News: Real Madrid’s bid for Mohammed Salah gets turned down by both the player and the Reds manager Jurgen Klopp.

Real Madrid have bought in a number of reinforcements this summer in order to mount a challenge both domestically and in Europe. However, there are still key positions available in the team. With Bale out of favour under Zidane and Hazard occupying the left flank, there is an opening on the right.

Real president, Florentino Perez wants Vinicius to play on the right. Perez signed the youngster himself and is desperate to see him succeed at the Santiago Bernabeu. However, Madrid manager, Zidane is of the opinion that the youngster is too green to be playing in such an important position.

The Frenchman believes that the club needs a marquee signing this summer to occupy the vacant spot. Both Zidane and Perez would love to bring in Kylian Mbappe. However, they both understand that doing so this season would be an uphill task. The French forwards price is out of Madrid’s budget ang both Zidane and Perez understand this.

Zidane is also impressed by Liverpool’s Sadio Mane. The Senegalese scored 26 goals and 5 assists in 50 games. They are reportedly even looking to offer Marco Asensio to that end. However, the most surprising of these choices are Mane’s teammate, Mohammed Salah!

Not one to forgive and forget

Diario GOL have reported that Real Madrid have offered Liverpool a whopping 160 million” euros for the Egyptian. However, both Jurgen Klopp and Salah have turned down the offer. There was no way Klopp was going to part with his prized player. Turns out though, Salah’s refusal has more to do with just has loyalty to Anfied. The same source has reported that Salah is still miffed with Ramos over the shoulder injury he faced in the Champions League Final last year. Mohammed Salah, it seems, has not forgotten or forgiven Ramos for that incident.
