Liverpool Transfer News: The Reds prepare to splash £107 million on Bundesliga star according to reports from Spain.
Under Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool have transformed into one of the, if not the most fearsome club in the world right now. A few years back the Merseyside club struggled to bring in world class players while also failing to hold on to their own talent. Now, the club hold enough sway to attract the best players.

The runaway Premier League leaders though, are wary of not resting on their laurels and would be wise to add to their squad in a bid to maintain the standard they have set for themselves and are willing to make a club record purchase to that end.
Liverpool prepare £107 million for Kai Havertz
According to Mundo Deportivo, Liverpool are planning to break their transfer record next summer in a bid to get ahead of Manchester United and Barcelona in the race for the highly sought after youngster. The reported bid is worth £107 million! 32 million more than what they spent on Virgil Van Dijk.
Despite only being 20-years old, Kai Havertz has already made 126 first team appearances for Bayer Leverkusen while also racking up 7 appearances for Germany. Haventz has been with his club since he was 11. However, the young German admitted last year that he was open to moving clubs.
“I am honest, at some point the next step must come for me,” Havertz told Bild last year.
“But I’m not going to worry about when exactly that will happen.
“What counts now is Bayer Leverkusen. We still have a lot to do. Leverkusen very quickly signaled that they wanted to keep me.
“That’s why it wasn’t an issue for me. Now I’m starting my tenth year here, maybe we can make it a golden one for the club.
“What will happen afterwards has not yet been decided. There is no club where I have already signed.”
