Macau Open : Saina Nehwal enters Quarter-Finals
Indian Star Saina Nehwal has reached the Quarter-Finals of the Macau Open. She defeated Indonesia’s Dinar Dyah Ayustine in a 3-setter. The score read 17-21, 21-18, 21-12.
Saina Nehwal had a tough first round too. She fought hard to defeat Indonesia’s Hanna Ramadini then. Here also she was stretched to the third set by the Indonesian. After PV Sindhu backed out from the tournament, Saina is best ranked Indian player.

Halfway through the first game, Saina had a 3 point lead. But her opponent soon gained momentum and took the game home 21-17. The second game started with Saina trailing 0-3. Saina played some amazing badminton after this as she took 11 straight points. The Indonesian tried to reduce the gap but eventually lost the game 21-18.
The initial phase of the decisive game was a close affair but eventually, Saina took a very comfortable lead. She displayed a flawless game and won the decider 21-12.
