Man United midfielder likes a comment that takes a dig at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Social Media after their draw against Southampton in the Premier League.
Manchester United have continued from their last season as they struggle to pick up a victory in the Premier League after their surprising win against Chelsea in their opening match. The Red Devils have been on a free fall ever since.
They could have continued their winning run in the match against Wolverhampton. However, Paul Pogba’s failure to score a penalty meant the two had to share a point each instead. They missed another penalty against Crystal Palace next. To make matters worse, this time they couldn’t even manage a draw, losing to the eagles 2-1.
They had a chance to bring their campaign back on track against Southampton and looked to do so when Daniel James scored in the 10th minute of the match. However, sloppy defending and passing led to the Saints equalising and eventually drawing the match.
This has outraged the fans who are slowly losing patience with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. They have taken to social media to express their displeasure with the manager and it seems that his players agree as well. Well, at least one of them does.
Man United midfielder likes a comment that takes a dig at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
A Manchester United supporter commented a rant against Solskjaer and the comment was liked by none other than Nemanja Matic himself. The comment was made on the midfielder’s pre-match post on Instagram, where the fan wrote:
“Matic if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer don’t want to future you in his team please leave the team. I think that man is sp myopic that he doesn’t know he needs you in the mid field. I am beginning to hate Ole,”
— Manchester United (@ManUtd24x7) September 1, 2019
It is unknown if Matic read the contents of the comment before liking it or is it a direct show of dissent towards his manager. However, one thing is clear. The fans are beginning to agitate and unless performances on the field improves, comments like this will become the norm until Solskjaer is forced to vacate his position.
