Man United Transfer News: Inter Milan spot cheaper alternative to Romelu Lukaku

Man United Transfer News: Inter Milan are set to target Edison Cavani from PSG as a cheaper alternative to Romelu Lukaku in this summer.

Inter Milan were heavily interested in hiring the services of Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United, but demands by the latter have propelled the Italian outfit to reconsider their choices.

Hence, in further advancements, according to a report by the Tuttosport claims that Inter Milan have spotted Edison Cavani as the cheaper alternative to Lukaku.

The Nerazzurris feel that since he has only one year left with Les Parisiens, he will be hired at a less price range. Moreover, Cavani has an impeccable record and experience in Serie A.

Although, Lukaku is still the primary target of Inter Milan, but Manchester United are not ready to lower the demands. Thus, the Italian club have decided to offer a £60 million offer with £15 million add-ons and bonuses.

The new manager at Inter Milan sees the Belgian International as the perfect fit in his rebuild plans at his new club, and considering Lukaku is also interested to make a move to Italy, the Nerazzurri are even more excited to land the player.

On the other hand, even though, Cavani has aged and have been irregular in the starting lineup of PSG, but he was still able to amass 21 goals in 26 appearances across all the competitions.

The Uruguayan International is still lethal in front of the goal, and still has the capability to be a success in Italy, but this signing would only work for a short period of time, contrary to the purpose of a rebuild by Conte.

Presently, Inter Milan is waiting for the response by Manchester United for the recent bid they made for Lukaku.
