Man United transfer news: Solskjaer's transfer budget for summer window revealed

Solskjaer has promised that there will be significant arrivals at Manchester United in the summer, and now, the club’s transfer budget for the summer window has been revealed.

Manchester United have been disappointing in the last few weeks. The side conceded defeat in six of their last eight games.

Solskjaer’s men faced losses in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup and the Champions League and slipped to the sixth position in the league.

While Manchester United still have a minimal chance of making it to the top-4 at the end of the season, Solskjaer has stated that the fans will see new arrivals in the summer at the club.

And it seems as if the Manchester United hierarchy is planning big for the transfer window in the summer, as Solskjaer’s hefty budget has finally been revealed.

Man United transfer budget: Raining money!

Solskjaer used strong words after the side’s humiliating 4-0 defeat to Everton in the Premier League last weekend.

The manager stated that he wants to build a successful team, and there are players in the current squad who won’t be the part of his successful team.

“If you want to play at this club, it has to mean more. I want my team to be the hardest working team in this league. I’m going to be successful here, and there are players there that won’t be part of that successful team,” the Norwegian manager said.

And now, according to English outlet Standard, Manchester United have decided on Solskjaer’s transfer budget for the summer.

It has been reported that Solskjaer is set to be given 200 million pounds to improve the Manchester United squad. Various reports have also suggested that the manager has already started to shortlist potential targets, and confirmed in an interview with Gary Neville last night that his staff has decided on the upcoming arrivals.

“I think now is not the time to make drastic changes, but of course we do plan ahead. As I’ve said, we know who we want to bring with us,” Solskjaer said.
