The Manchester United midfielder dropped a huge hint over a potential transfer to Real Madrid during a press conference with France.

Paul Pogba joined Manchester United in 2016 after leaving the side three years earlier for Juventus.

The midfielder has since been a regular feature for the club, and stepped up under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the past few months.

The fall-out between Pogba and Jose Mourinho caused major controversy around the club, which ended with the sacking of the latter in December last year.

However, the Manchester United superstar raised concern among the club fans as he dropped a huge Real Madrid transfer hint during a press conference with France ahead of the Euro qualifiers.

Paul Pogba to Real Madrid?

Paul Pogba has been linked with a move to Santiago Bernabeu in the past. However, no deal was put on the table by Real Madrid.

Instead, there were various reports of Barcelona making an official bid for the French midfielder in the summer transfer window last year. Manchester United rejected the bid straightaway.

However, in a press conference, Paul Pogba stated that Real Madrid is one of the “biggest clubs in the world,” insisting that footballers dream to play at Santiago Bernabeu.

“Like I’ve always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone,” Paul Pogba began. “It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world.

“There is also [Zinedine] Zidane as a coach and it’s a dream for anybody who likes football.”

He further stated that he can’t confirm where he will be in the future.

“For now, I’m at Manchester. We don’t know what the future holds. I’m at Manchester and I’m happy,” said Pogba.

Paul Pogba has scored 9 of the 14 goals in this season across all competitions under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. As Manchester United look forward to a heavyweight clash against Barcelona in the quarterfinals of the Champions League next month, Solskjaer would pin his hopes on Pogba to steer the side in the midfield.
