Man Utd team news vs Liverpool: Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard have been a doubt for the game against Liverpool.
Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard suffered significant injuries during the game against PSG in the Champions League last week.
They missed the fifth round of the FA Cup against Chelsea, but Manchester United cruised to a 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge.
However, speculations had increased over their participation in the game against Liverpool.
The side hosts the Merseyside club later tonight at Old Trafford.
Manchester United are currently fourth in the Premier League table and would aim to maintain their position and close the gap with the third-placed Tottenham Hotspur to six points.

Solskjær: “We have to make sure that we don’t end up being happy being among the top four. If you aim too low and reach your targets then that’s more dangerous than aiming too high and missing them.”

Liverpool, meanwhile, will reach the top of the table if they beat their bitter rivals.
Manchester Evening News (MEN), meanwhile, have provided an update over the chances for Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard to feature against Liverpool last night.
According to the Manchester-based media outlet, Anthony Martial was not the part of the squad which checked-in at the Lowry Hotel ahead of the clash.
Jesse Lingard, however, has been with the squad.
It is also understood that Nemanja Matic will join the team later after he failed to check-in at the hotel with the rest of the Manchester United squad.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been impressive ever since taking over the caretaker role at the club in December. He was appointed for the position after Manchester United’s 3-1 loss to Liverpool at Anfield.
