LIV Vs TOT Fantasy Prediction: Liverpool Vs Tottenham Best Fantasy Picks for Premier League 2020-21 Match

Response to Liverpool signing Mohamed Salah in 2017 went extremely wrong, as the Egyptian International proved everyone wrong.

Mohamed Salah is probably the best player in the Premier League along with Sadio Mane and Kevin De Bruyne, but everything was not merry for him in the Premier League before 2017.

Salah was signed by Liverpool in 2017 for around £30 million from Roma, this was going to be his second stint in the Premier League. He earlier played for Chelsea and was hardly able to make appearances in 18 matches.

He wasn’t a trusted enough by Jose Mourinho at that time, which compelled him to warm the bench for almost whole of the year he stayed at the London based club.

He then moved to the Italian side Fiorentina on loan, where he had a good spell of 6 months before Roma came and snatched him (initially on loan) where Salah introduced his actual proficiency in the attack.

The following season Salah ended up scoring the most number of goals for Roma in 2015/16 season and was club’s player of the season. In 2016, he made his move permanent at Roma and rose to prominence with continued brilliance.

Therefore, Jurgen Klopp decided to include the Egyptian International in his plan to make Liverpool the European giants once again. In June 2017, Salah joined Liverpool.

Even though Salah was now renowned as a lethal forward but Liverpool’s rivals were not late in reminding them of his failed stint at Chelsea. Many rivals fans ended up dissing Salah for his past and undermind his inclusion.

But little did they know that he would explode this time, Salah ended up winning the player of the month in his first month with the Reds. This was not enough for him and he later ended up winning Premier League player of the month PFA Player of the year award.

Moreover, Liverpool went onto play their first Champions League final in 13 years, they faced a tough defeat by 4-1 against Real Madrid surely but Liverpool looked like a team on the rise.

Next season Liverpool under the lethal trio of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah won the Champions League title and this year are once again in contention to defend the title and are very near to win the Premier League.

Salah is still in his peak years and amidst the dominance of Liverpool, Salah will surely further bloom under Klopp who has signed extension till 2024. But largely fans response to Salah’s signing did not age well.
