Man Utd Transfer News: Manchester United ask Tottenham Hotspurs to give updates on star midfielder

Man Utd Transfer News: Manchester United request Tottenham Hotspurs to give transfer updates on star midfielder Christian Eriksen.

Manchester United are looking for several reinforcements in midfield, as they are facing a challenge to keep key players after an end to an underwhelming season.

Thus, in recent advancements, according to a report by the Daily Mail, Manchester United have told Spurs to give updates on £70 million  rated Christian Eriksen.

The Danish International is in the last year of his contract with the North London club. On the other hand, with the departure of Ander Herrera, and uncertain future of Paul Pogba with the Red Devils have compelled the club hierarchy to consider him to fill the void.

With Real Madrid snubbing interest in Eriksen, and fully focusing in capturing Pogba. Manchester United have clear way to hire the 27-year-old midfielder.

Therefore, with Manchester United expecting around £150 million for Pogba this summer, their finances will be enough to hire quality replacements before the end of the transfer window.

Manchester United are already in contact with Bruno Fernandes, Sergej Milikovic Savic and Sean Longstaff for the same position, the Red Devils might opt for Eriksen, as he has prior experience in the Premier league to claim his worth.

Furthermore, Manchester United are also seeking to hire the services of Harry Maguire and Nicolas Pepe from Leicester City and Lille respectively. Thus, Manchester are trying their best to revamp the squad ahead of the next season.

It is certain that Manchester United are still not sure about the future of Pogba at the Old Trafford, thus Eriksen seems a viable option to replace the French International at the last minute.
