Man Utd Transfer News: Sir Alex Ferguson advises Manchester United to sign Aston Villa superstar

Man Utd Transfer News: Manchester United legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson advises the club to hire Aston Villa superstar John McGinn.

Manchester United are in a desperate need of hiring new players, especially in midfield, as the Red Devils are losing key players from that area and need certain reinforcements to bounce back from last season’s humiliation.

In further advancements, according to a report by the Sun, Manchester United former manager Sir Alex Ferguson wants the club to hire John McGinn from Aston Villa.

The Scottish manager believes that McGinn is the solution of all the midfield woes at the Old Trafford. A combative box-to-box midfielder, the 24-year-old scored seven goals and assisted nine more in his 43 Championship games last season.

Moreover, he showed his potential in the Championship last season by playing a crucial role in Aston Villa’s promotion to the Premier league, McGinn was also named man-of-the-match in Villa’s play-off final triumph over Derby County.

Thus, it seems, former Manchester United boss is impressed by the 24-year-old player, who is set to make his debut in the Premier league. Although, it seems unlikely that a move will happen, as the player does not have a top-flight experience.

Moreover, he plays a vital role in Aston Villa’s squad in the upcoming season, and with many players who were crucial to the newly promoted side’s campaign last summer are either into the last phase of their careers or were on a loan move.

So, even if Manchester United will make an approach the player. Aston Villa will demand a compensation, which the Red Devils might not get ready be  pay to add the services of McGinn.

With transfer window about to be closed in less than two weeks, Manchester united doesn’t have enough time to hire much required signing.
