Manchester United memes and Twitter reactions after Manchester United’s horrible performance against Newcastle United in 1-0 defeat.
Manchester United are going through a tough phase in their history, and have made the worst start in any of their Premier League campaigns ever. Thus, things are probably not fine at the club.
Last night, Manchester United were embarrassed after they were defeated by Newcastle United in last night’s Premier League match. It was not only the defeat that went bad for the Red Devils. Overall, Ole Solskjaer’s side was poor.
Manchester United seemed poor in midfield and was unable to pose any threat to the Toons in the 90-minute encounter. They were near to score a goal in the first half, but Harry Maguire missed the open chance, which could have brought them at the forefront.
Instead, local boy Matty Longstaff scored a long-range winner in the 72nd minute to give Steve Bruce his first-ever managerial victory over the club. Newcastle United desperately needed a win, as they only had one win this season in the 7 games played before last night.
On the other hand, Manchester United are officially on their worst run of form away from home since 1989, failing to win their last 11 on the road in all competitions.
The impact of defeat was so massive that even David De Gea confessed his opinion on Manchester United’s dire state since he joined the club during Sir Alex Ferguson’s era.
Fans were already intolerant with Solskjaer’s work at the club and with this defeat against Newcastle United, most of Manchester United fans are intolerant and demands the sacking of the Norwegian Manager.
Moreover, the fans even slammed players for their poor performances and took on social media to express their anger. Further, there were rival fans who took a dig at Manchester United after the defeat.
