Looks like Jose Mourinho has it in for his former club!

After Manchester United stole Lukaku from Chelsea’s grasp, Jose Mourinho looks all set to buy another player with whom Chelsea had previously agreed terms with.

Tiemoue Bakayoko to Chelsea was said to be a done deal. The Monaco midfielder was all set to come to Stamford Bridge this season.

But then there was a delay that has infuriated Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

Conte is said to be immensely frustrated with the way Chelsea have handled their business this summer. He has not got any of his first choices, and is said to be frustrated with the ineptitude of the Chelsea board.

Conte wanted Bonucci to be brought in from Juventus. Although Conte knew it would be a tough deal to pull off, the lack of urgency from the Chelsea board made it impossible to lure the brilliant defender.

Losing Lukaku to Manchester United would have been a tough pill for Conte to swallow. But the failure to land Bakayoko would be too much for the Italian.

Conte managed to win the Premier League in his first season, something that very few people had given him a chance of doing.

He worked miracles last season, as the like of Moses, Luiz and Pedro played on a level that even the Chelsea faithful could not foresee.

And just when it seemed as if Chelsea would kick on to become an European force, a poor transfer window might cost the club dearly next season.

One can only imagine Conte’s reaction if Bakayoko does indeed go to Old Trafford in the coming weeks.
