Poland striker Arkadiusz Milik was even given a profile on the app, which gave fans an opportunity to gain special interaction with the Napoli hitman.

Tinder will place its logo on the left sleeve of United’s shirt. They will pay 12 million pounds, which fits well into the 20 per cent of the main shirt sponsor, Chevrolet.

Tinder has 50 million users, with an approximately 1 billion swipes being made on a daily basis. The Silicon based company wishes to gain a more global and mainstream image, which is why they wish to tie up with Manchester United.

This app will introduce a new medium for fans to interact with the club. United will gain a lot of money and increase their global reach, while Tinder will fulfill their wish of gaining mainstream publicity.
