England finished fourth in the FIFA World Cup at Russia. Their performance at the quadrennial tournament exceeded many expectations. However, some were still left frowning as they believed they could lift the trophy.

A young squad stood out at their major international outing. One player who did was Harry Maguire. The British center back was instrumental for their success. The Three Lions were great defensively.

The Leicester City man was among those ranked for making the post clearances off set pieces in the matches. His heading ability in the England is unparalleled and so is his scope for improvement.

Tall and lanky, Maguire has the characteristics to go on to become one of the best defenders in the world. The 25 year old signed for 2015/16s Premier League champions in 2017. He played every minute of Leicester’s season and was awarded the player of the year.

England’s northern based giants Manchester United are now looking to strengthen their defence. Harry Maguire has always been an option for the Red Devils, more so after the World Cup. He tops their wish list and could be on his way out of the King Power Stadium.

He will form an integral part of the Manchester United defence that desperately needs a shuffle. The Old Trafford outlet is looking to give competition to its rivals Manchester City for the title.

They have already made three signings and are linked to a number of other players. Harry Maguire is looking for the big move to the 20 time league champions.

Leicester City signed him for £17 million from Hull City a year ago. They could make amazing business if the Red Devils pay them the quoted value of £65 million.

Manchester United- currently playing in the United States as part of the pre-season- will begin the Premier League season with a home visit of Leicester City. They have been tipped to do wonders this season and will be hoping that they live up to the hype.
