Man United Transfer News: Red Devils close to reaching an agreement with young Argentine sensation

Man United Transfer News: Red Devils close to reaching an agreement with Thiago Almada, rumoured to be an alternative to Jadon Sancho.

Manchester United is planning to sign young recruits in the attack, as an alternative to Jadon Sancho, who’s arrival’s chances looks weak to the Red Devils.

According to a report by the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United have identified teenage Argentine winger Thiago Almada as a possible transfer alternative to Sancho.

The report further states that the club is nearing to reach an agreement with the club and Velez Sarsfield has almost been convinced to let the player go to Europe.

The Argentine International has been phenomenal this season, in the 25 games he has played, he has managed to bag 5 goals and 2 assists from the midfield.

Almada is highly rated by many experts across the game, He was included in The Guardian’s “Next Generation 2018”. The player is versatile on the pitch and can play on the either of wings too.

Therefore, he seems to be a good prospect on the paper. Meanwhile, Sancho has been turned out to be an expensive player for every major club in Europe.

Despite his hype everywhere, the lockdown enforced after the spread of Coronavirus has left the deep impact in the pockets of all the clubs, which will take time to recover.

Yet Borussia Dortmund is adamant on their demands and are reluctant to agree on any bargain. Thus, all the clubs are looking for alternative prospects.

However, this will not solve Manchester United’s issues at the right-wing even though Almada is a talented prospect and have a bright future ahead of him.

The profiles of Sancho and Almada do not match, hence Manchester United will certainly look after more specific options to solve their problems ahead of the transfer window.
