The man who gave us Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg is considering a bid to buy a Premier league club.
Yes! This is actually true.
Mark Zuckerbeg is involved with an American investment firm called Iconiq Capital. The firm has been in discussions with the Premier club for some time now.
According to several reports, Iconiq made a £882.6 million bid for Spurs but the current owner, Lewis turned it down.

Iconiq manages the wealth of several Silicon Valley billionaires including Zuckerberg.
Zuckerberg, whose net worth is over 60 billion dollars, is interested in buying and has already had a bid of 1 billion dollars rejected.
Tottenham’s current owner, Joe Lewis is holding out for something close to 2 billion dollars. The Premier league has already seen the likes of Chelsea and City being transformed by billionaire owners.

Chelsea was taken over by Roman Abrahimovic around 2004, while City was taken over by Sheikh Mansour around 2010.
But clubs’ fortunes have changed since the take over and it would be interesting to see what would happen to Tottenham if this takeover gets completed.
Tottenham already have a great squad and is on the cusp of achieving something very special. The likes of Kane, Alli and Loris form the core of this exciting Spurs side.
And now if you add the billions that Zuckerbeg will provide, you are suddenly looking at a potential super power in the making.
We are not yet sure if Iconiq Capital will make another bid though. But if they bid around 2 billion, should Joe Lewis sell the club?
