Ranging from battle royales and gacha games to card battlers and MMORPGs, this year’s mobile category was stacked. However, the card battler managed to steal the crown with its impressive launch in a crowded market. After a long beta testing phase, the game was released in full on October 18, 2022. The game’s official description reads:

“The fastest card battler in the Multiverse is here! Assemble your Marvel dream team from a super roster of your favorite heroes and villains—then make your move. MARVEL SNAP unleashes the entire Marvel Universe into a fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping, strategic card battler.”

The game’s mind game mechanic was hailed by many as a game-changer, upping the stakes and rewards for those willing to roll the dice. Earlier today, Martin Garrix and JVKE put out their anthem track for the game titled ‘Hero.’ The video was a superhero-studded 3-minute journey, filled with multiple art styles and groovy beats in the background.
