Mason Mount named most valuable player in the list released by Football Observatory ranking top 100 players in the top 5 European leagues.

Chelsea’s Mason Mount has played only one season in the Premier League after Frank Lampard brought him back from Derby. But now he has been ranked as the most valuable Chelsea player.

In the list compiled by the Football Observatory, encompassing the 100 most valued player in the world from the top 5 leagues in the world. The list ranks Mount at the 19th position with the value of £91.4 million.

The Chelsea star has been ranked above Lionel Messi, which shows in just one season Mount has managed to enhance his valuation by a mile. Meanwhile, even Timo Werner who is set to be the new Chelsea player has ranked 12 positions below Mount.

Amidst all of this, the most valued players in the list are Kylian Mbappe with a jaw-dropping estimated value of £231.1m, followed by Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling (£173.6m), who is Premier League’s most valued player.

Then the list sees Jadon Sancho in the list who has been valued at £159.7 million, followed by his compatriots, Trent Alexander Arnold and Marcus Rashford who are valued at £152.6 million and £135.8 million respectively.

This list does also give a signal of change in the world football, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are nowhere to be seen in the list, even the stars like Neymar and Antoine Greizmann have been ranked below in the list.

This list directly signifies the desirability of each player in Europe and age do play a great role in it, that’s why players like Kylian Mbappe and Jadon Sancho occupy the first two spots.

There’s no doubt that Mbappe is a generations talent and already won the world cup for his nation, whereas Sancho is also deemed to be a prodigy.
