Matteo Guendouzi taunts Watford fans only to have it come back to haunt him in their Premier League encounter early in the night.
Arsenal looked good to pick up 3 points in the Premier League against Watford tonight. Aubameyang’s brace set them well for the win. However, a shambolic second half display left them sharing the points with Watford instead.

Arsenal left the pitch at halftime with a comfortable two goal cushion. 8 minutes after the break and Watford had reduced the gap to one. The fans got at Vicarage Road got behind their team as they chased the equaliser.

The loud home fans began booing Frenchman Matteo Guendouzi, to which he responded by reminding them of the 2-1 score line using his fingers in the 66th minute.

The act would soon come back to bite him as teammate David Luiz gave away his second penalty of the season. The Brazilian unfortunately tripped Roberto Pereyara 10 minutes later, who converted from the spot to add to Tom Cleverly’s strike.
With the match in the balance and about 15 minutes left in the game, both teams chased victory. However, Watford’s attempt seemed more convincing of the two. Despite showing clear signs of fatigue, the hosts created numerous chances to walk away with the winner. Unfortunately, they failed to find the back of the net.
By the end of play both teams shared a point each. Quite the comeback after being 2-0 down. However, they will regret not being clinical in the last 10 minutes.
Arsenal are now in 7th with 8 points, the same as the four teams above them. Watford, despite their encouraging showing, remain at the bottom with only 2 points to show for.
