Max Verstappen's hilarious take on Lewis Hamilton going skydiving

Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are going to be involved in a season long title battle this season.

All of Honda’s developments in the off season seem to be taking Red Bull in the right direction with respect to challenging Ferrari and Mercedes, and Verstappen could be at the helm of this new Red Bull revolution.

However, all of that can come down crashing, if Red Bull struggle to find pace and reliability during winter testing in Barcelona.

They have taken a calculated gamble by trusting Honda and it could go either way for them.

Before the gruelling season kicks off, all drivers are enjoying some off time, getting rejuvenated and filling up their tanks for the grind.

Lewis Hamilton has been actively posting about how he is embracing adventure sports during the off season, but Verstappen is not ready to go down that road, yet.

When Verstappen was asked if he would be jumping out of planes too like Hamilton, he replied with a firm ‘no’.

“At the moment certainly not.” Verstappen said as quoted by De Telegraaf newspaper.

“Lewis is of course already 34 years old.

“Of course I do not know what my life will look like in 13 years.” he added.

Verstappen hilariously pointed out that having won 5 titles, Hamilton could take more risks with his life.

With no titles under his belt, Verstappen does not want to risk any injuries by indulging in adventure sports life surfing or sky diving.

“Lewis has already won so much,” he said.

“So skydiving, why not? You also have to enjoy a bit of life, of course.

“But for me the risks are greater.  Of course I do not want to get injured so that I might not be able to win the championship.  So even skydiving is not available for me now.” he added.

Verstappen is looking forward to kicking off the 2019 season now. He wants to get behind the wheel of the car and feel how the Honda engine performs on the race track.

“I feel like going out that first time,” said Verstappen.

“To see how the Honda engine feels. I’m already looking forward to that.” he concluded.
