Michael Jordan funko pop set to be launched by Footlocker; the bobblehead to sport a Chicago Bulls 23 Jersey
Michael Jordan has been in the news in the last few weeks, primarily because of LeBron’s comments around the GOAT debate.
In an interview released on LeBron’s 34th birthday, the Lakers man was heard saying that after the 2016 NBA finals comeback win over the Warriors, he felt like he had overtaken Michael Jordan to become the greatest player of all time.
Since then NBA and Jordan fans have dug up multiple Jordan interviews, with the most famous one being one from 2009, wherein when asked about the GOAT tag, Jordan very humbly replies saying that he would never accept the tag of the GOAT, as it would be disrespectful to the legends that played the game before him.
Multiple other interviews too have surfaced, with Jordan not really speaking about LeBron whenever asked about the current best player in the league or when speaking about the player that reminds him of himself the most.
BREAKING: GOAT conversation is now officially settled between LeBron Raymone James Sr. & Michael Jeffrey Jordan by an apparent “Bay Area” basketball aficionado. https://t.co/glSuwXiUl8

That praise has been restricted to Kawhi Leonard and Russell Westbrook, respectively. And the only kind of time that Jordan has really praised LeBron is when the latter went up against Trump.
So, there really hasn’t been any direct appreciation for LeBron’s activities on court.
While Jordan may have his reasons, a lot of fans do feel that Jordan is keeping things close to his chest in ‘LeBron matters’, as he too believes that LeBron has the closest claim to his GOAT tag.
While Jordan fans are busy defending their ‘god’ in the last few weeks, they have now been given a brilliant news by Footlocker, as they are releasing exclusive funko pops.

It had been a long time coming, as the global Basketball icon and greatest player of all time deserved to have a bobblehead figure.
The Jordan Funko Pop is going to be sporting a Chicago Bulls 23 Jersey and would be exhibiting one of Jordan’s most iconic moments on the basketball court’ ‘the’ Jordan photo from the 1987-88 slam dunk contest.
The Funko Pop will be seen wearing the classic Air Jordan Cement III’s.
The Jordan Funko Pop is priced at $13 and should be available in FootLocker stores all over the country from this week.
The Funko Pop brilliantly captures that famous Jordan dunk and has the air of nostalgia about it
