Modric-Vinicius jr. training session

Modric-Vinicius jr. training session: The shoulder push from Luka Modric has gone viral on social media.

Real Madrid have had a struggling season so far. The Spanish giants are currently sixth in La Liga after a rather eventful first half of the season.

The club parted ways with Julen Lopetegui after a 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Barcelona in season’s first El Clasico. Santiago Solari was awarded a permanent contract at the club after an impressive start, but the side slumped to a disappointing 3-0 defeat against Eibar.

Earlier today, a video surfaced on the social media where Luka Modric is seen showing anger at Brazilian youngster Vinicius Jr. after a Rondo session.

This is not the first time when a training ground bust-up at Real Madrid went viral on social media this season. A few weeks ago, Sergio Ramos vent out his frustration at Sergio Reguilion.

It has been reported by AS that Luka Modric poured out his anger at Vinicius Jr. on a misplaced pass during the Rondo session at the training ground.

The Croatian midfielder gave a shoulder push to the Brazilian, before giving him a death stare.

Vinicius Jr., however, looked at ease and was even seen laughing in the training session a few moments later.

Fair to say, the tempers are high at Real Madrid at the moment, and justifiedly so. The club is 6th in La Liga and suffered from their worst goalless in history earlier this season.

The departure of Cristiano Ronaldo has had a significant impact on Real Madrid’s goalscoring form, and the injuries to stars like Gareth Bale and Isco under Lopetegui didn’t help the Spanish manager’s cause.

While the future of Isco is in doubt after Santiago Solari dropped him from the squad for the Champions League clash against AS Roma earlier this weekend, Gareth Bale returned to goalscoring as he opened the account against the Italian side.
