Barcelona news: Blaugrana goalkeeper claims to join Ronaldo in Juventus as he seeks more playing time elsewhere.

Jasper Cillessen joined Barcelona in 2016 as a deputy to the German goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen. Despite performing flamboyantly in the limited matches, the Dutch goalkeeper always remained the second choice.
However, Stegen’s form and match-winning performances always outshined Cillissen’s efforts. Thus, the 30-year-old goalkeeper is seeking options elsewhere for more game-time.

According to a report by Calciomercato, Cillessen has expressed an interest in joining Juventus and ‘leaving to join Cristiano Ronaldo’. The Italian outlet suggests that Cillessen has had enough with playing a bit-part role to Ter Stegen.
Meanwhile, Juventus are unhappy with both goalkeepers at their helm. Moreover, Wojciech Szczesny’s poor performance against Ajax led to Old lady’s elimination from the Champions league.
Thus, the Italian club would be interested in looking for a better reinforcement to guard the goal. Considering Cillissen’s abilities, he could be a viable option for the Old lady.
On the the other hand, the Dutch International had a great season with Barcelona as he is on a verge to win his second domestic double with the Catalan club. Additionally, he will play a crucial role in Barcelona’s match against Valencia in the Copa Del Rey final.
If Cillissen is about to leave Barcelona, then this could be a great sent-off to the 30-year-old goalkeeper after three years of service.
