AS reported that Liverpool forward has been offered to Barcelona as the club reportedly met with his representatives.

According to AS, Barcelona had made contact with the Egyptian’s representatives to figure out how much the deal would cost.

Barcelona have entered the transfer market for a number of positions after a successful domestic season.

Salah has had a highly impressive season with Liverpool. He won the Premier League Player of the Year trophy, as he overtook Cristiano Ronaldo to score most goals in a single Premier League season. Earlier, Salah was also linked with Real Madrid.

Salah has been influential in Egypt’s campaign for the World Cup. He led the team to their third world cup qualification in history. Although, his participation in Egypt’s first game against Uruguay is still in doubt, as Salah recovers from the injury he sustained in the Champions League final.

AS earlier reported that Liverpool are set to demand fee in the region of €100m for Salah. However, Mohamed Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa has rubbished the reports.

He posted on Twitter to clarify the rumours about Salah’s transfer speculations. He said that he hasn’t met with Barcelona.

There were also reports of Salah being linked with Real Madrid, although the Egyptian himself clarified that he has no intention of joining the Los Blancos and he is perfectly happy at Liverpool.

Liverpool have already announced the signing of Fabinho, and are reportedly closing in on Nabil Fekir.
