Mourinho has been out of job for a year since his sacking at Old Trafford with Manchester United. However, the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino has opened the doors of yet another Premier League side for the Portuguese.
While the Portuguese is a pedigreed manager and has won several titles over the years, there is a growing fear that he is past his best and has been figured out. The argument can be made that at Tottenham he will have a better squad at his disposal than he had at United and could guide them to a trophy. However, Tottenham fans have already made their minds about their new manager.

After being treated to exciting football in the last 5 years or so, Spurs fans are now worried that the club may adopt a much more careful and defensive approach. There is also the possibility of the club enduring drama with Mourinho being such a controversial figure in comparison to the more stable Pochettino.
Fans have thus turned their back on their manager despite him only being an hour ago and took to twitter to let their feelings known.
