“I will resign as CEO as soon as I find…” Elon Musk tweets after CEO poll

Musk has been tweeting a lot about stepping down as the CEO of the platform and now, MrBeast asked him “Can I be the new Twitter CEO?” While it is uncertain whether MrBeast was serious about the question, Musk has given him the green signal.

Streamer HasanAbi was quick to respond to it and said it could be a good move for Twitter if Jimmy takes over as the new boss. This could be a direct jibe at the kind of policy changes Musk has been making. Needless to say, they haven’t sat well with the users.

Why does MrBeast want to become thO of Twitter?

While his motives might not be clear, Jimmy has been extremely dissatisfied with the way Musk has been handling Twitter. A recent policy change that prevented cross-platform promotion did not sit well with Jimmy. He was quick to point out to Musk that if he has to keep on making unnecessary changes to the platform, he might as well step down from the CEO post.

This is not the first time that MrBeast has expressed his willingness to become the head at Twitter. During a previous exchange also he expressed that he wanted to “have” Twitter.

Why are people unhappy with Elon Musk?

Ever since he joined the platform, people have been extremely unhappy with Musk’s changes. After the $44 billion buyout of Twitter, Musk fired 7,500 employees. He has also been testing new features that could soon be a part of the Twitter 2.0 dream that the Tesla and SpaceX head has been carrying.

The exchange of tweets and MrBeast asking to become the CEO started after Musk’s poll had 57 percent of the people voting for him to step down. He later tweeted “I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.”
