Of all his fantastic attributes, MS Dhoni’s calmness under pressure remains his biggest asset. His ability to trust his instincts and not let the pressure get to him, is an incredible quality that has helped him out in countless situations.

So it was a surprise to see the Ranchi man get angry during the first T20I against Sri Lanka. The incident occurred during the first innings, when Manish Pandey got distracted by a camera man who was standing right in front of the side screen.

Dhoni, who was standing at the non striker’s end, was not at all happy with the camera man. He actually took a few steps towards the side screen before the camera man ran away, as reported by Cricbuzz.

Dhoni smashed a quick fire 39, as he propelled India to 180 in their allotted 20 overs. The former skipper was sensational last night, as he and Pandey gave India the impetus that it required.

Eventually, the match proved to be a very one sided game, as the Indian bowlers proved to be too good for the Lankan batsmen. Chahal was brilliant last night, as he took four wickets to scoop the Man of the Match award.

Rohit praises his former skipper, as he believed that Dhoni can be a the solution at number four.

“He batted magnificently and we felt that he was hitting the ball well. And great finish to the batting innings by MS and Manish, who hasn’t got much game time to come and bat like that. We can’t talk much about MSD. He didn’t get much batting in the ODIs but shows that class is permanent. ”

“We expect a lot from him and No.4 position paid off. He is someone who’s played and won so many games, so moving forward we feel, in this format, he can bat at No.4 will be ideal which can allow Manish and Dinesh to finish the innings”
