MS Dhoni to make his Bollywood acting debut alongside Sanjay Dutt according to reports. The movie may also feature Emraan Hashmi and Suniel Shetty.

Former India skipper MS Dhoni is yet to feature in a cricket match since India’s ouster from the recently concluded cricket world cup. He is reportedly out with a wrist injury and will probably return near the end of this year or early next year.

Dhoni has played cricket continuously for almost a decade and a half. With this unexpected leave, he now has the time to pursue other hobbies. He recently came 2nd in a golf tournament in the U.S and if reports are to be believed he may very well make his acting debut very soon too.

MS Dhoni to make his Bollywood acting debut alongside Sanjay Dutt

According to a report from Koimoi, MS Dhoni will most likely make his debut in a movie titled ‘Doghouse’. The story revolves around 3 underdogs with Sanjay Dutt roped in to play one of the leads. Emraan Hashmi and Suniel Shetty have  reportedly been approached for the other lead roles.

While there has been no official confirmation as of yet, the report states that MS Dhoni will make a cameo appearance in the film. ‘Doghouse’ will be directed by Samir karnik, whose last film was ‘Chaar Din ki Chandni’ starring Tushar Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Om Puri.

While Dhoni has starred in a multitude of advertisements, he is yet to make an appearance on the big screen. Although he did shoot for a movie titled ‘Hook ya Crook’ alongside John Abraham. Unfortunately, the movie never released.
