$1 Billion Worth LeBron James Shared His Biggest Regret During his Wedding With Savannah James: "Just for the Spectacle"

Speaking on Season 5 Episode 7 of “The Shop,” LeBron James revealed some details about how he would conduct his wedding today. The LA Lakers superstar is the executive producer of the talk show which was initially on HBO Uninterrupted, and has recently been moved to YouTube. Speaking about Draymond Green’s August 2022 wedding, LeBron claimed that Green had to uninvite a lot of people who only wanted to come to be among celebrities.

James got married to his wife Savannah James in 2013. The star, who is worth $1 billion, went on to claim that if he had the choice of doing it all again, he would also end up re-jigging the invite list.

LeBron James claims he would not invite a lot of people to his wedding if he did it all over again

When asked whether he would want to do things differently if he got married today, LeBron’s answer was a resounding yes. The 38-year-old revealed that he had outgrown a lot of people since the start of his NBA career.

The LA Lakers’ superstar claimed that his special day had been marred by two “wedding crashers”. The two individuals had apparently been caught after they addressed one of LeBron’s celebrity friends by their first name, a name that nobody else would use. James claimed that certain people merely came for the spectacle:

“You got certain people who show up just for the spectacle. Also, me personally, I have just grown into a different stratosphere in life, that we just don’t see life the same. Ten years ago, my pants were way bigger than this. My shirt was way bigger than this. Like, I wasn’t tucking in my chain. I wasn’t drinking like sophisticated drinks.”

LeBron James reveals a hilarious story about his 2013 wedding

James revealed that once the wedding crashers had been sniffed out, they were approached by security. However, the two individuals apparently claimed that they came with someone else:

“That’s how it got sniffed out. My security goes over to them and says, ‘Who y’all with?’ And they’re like, ‘Oh, oh, we’re with him.’ When they said him, ‘him’ turned around at exactly the same time and was like, ‘Hell no, them motherfu**ers ain’t with me.’ They got put out, swear to God. Them motherfu**ers walked out with a plate and everything. I wanted to smack that sh*t on the ground.”

Regardless, while James might have some complaints about the way his wedding went, his married life is blissful. And LeBron might end up playing alongside his oldest son Bronny James in the NBA. He also has two other children with Savannah James.
