The Dallas Mavericks pulled out a tough win at the Crypto.Com arena last night. Playing the Los Angeles Lakers, the Dallas Mavericks survived a 2OT thriller thanks to Luka Doncic and his heroics. Mark Cuban was courtside with his team and was watching them fight to get a 119-115 win.

The officiating in the entire game was questionable, with the officials missing calls for both teams. There were several clear calls on Luka Doncic that the officials failed to recognize and call. This had fans, players, coaches, and obviously, Cuban fired up as well.
In fact, things were so bad that he took it to his Twitter to complain about the officiating, while the game was still in progress.
Stan van gundy is absolutely right. Worst officiated game. Luka gets no respect. Unreal.

While many would agree, Andre Iguodala decided to have some fun with it.
Andre Iguodala asks for a $100 Million fine for Mark Cuban
As of late, there have been a lot more complaints from players regarding officials and the calls. Usually, they result in Technicals on the court, if the players or the bench persists too much. However, Mark Cuban put out this tweet, and it probably would have no repercussions.
Seeing the same, Andre Iguodala went and commented on his tweet.
$100M dollar fine

Mark Cuban took no time to reply to the 4x Champion. He referred to Andre’s recent rejection and fine while replying.
Should I have grabbed the balled and tossed it into the stands too 😁😁😁

In case you missed it, Andre got ejected against the Suns. He was issued a Techincal, and he threw the ball in frustration.

Have the officials been too whistle friendly this season?
This season, the officials are calling lesser fouls on the floor, and especially on made baskets, to avoid plus-one calls. While it’s good for the flow of the game, usually it results in players complaining almost after each possession.
This, in turn, has resulted in the officials being too liberal with the whistle to issue technical fouls. We’re nearly the mid-way point of the season currently, and 504 teschincal fouls had been assessed till yesterday. In comparision, 1080 techincal fouls were assessed last season, which included the playoffs.
If we go by the current rate, the number of techincal fouls might cross 1200 by the time the season ends.
