"$5,000,000 in Gifts": Michael Jordan's Son Convinces Larsa Pippen About 'Double Standards' in Relationships Days After Birthday Bash

Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan is currently in a high-profile relationship with Larsa Pippen. The two have been dating for quite a while now, and even have a podcast together. On the podcast, called Separation Anxiety, the two give their fans and followers an inside look into their relationship. And, in the most recent episode titled Pricey Gifts and Freudian Slips, the two discussed the topic of, as the episode suggests, pricey gifts. Marcus, in particular, pointed out how there is a double standard when it comes to gifting, and how for a man, gifting can start at $1,000,000 and go up to $5,000,000. All this, days after Larsa’s birthday.

Marcus recently spent big on Larsa’s birthday, going all out to give her the best day possible. He wanted her to feel special, and with the money he has earned from his own business ventures, coupled with the fact that he is the son of the greatest basketball player of all time, he was able to do just that.

Marcus Jordan claims there is a double standard in gifting days after partying with Larsa Pippen on her birthday

Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen recently had an interesting conversation about one of the many dynamics in a relationship, gifting. The two agreed that in this day and age, gifting is a huge part of dating. And, one of the most integral parts of that process is the money involved in the same.

Having just celebrated Larsa’s birthday, and obviously splurging on it, Marcus believes that gifting has a double standard. He believes that a man is expected to pay more than a woman. Pointing out, that a $1,000,000 gift would see a man spend close to $5,000,000 five years down the line, he feels that there is pressure on men to maintain standards.

Larsa, while she does disagree to a certain extent, feels that a man has more to offer than his money. Focusing on the concept of time, as her mother taught her, Larsa claimed that the combination of giving time and gifts is what is perfect for her.

“I do feel like as a guy there is a scale of time spent together versus the price and value of a gift. I feel like over time you constantly have to outdo yourself. So if you start off with a $1,000,000 gift, by year five you’re up to $5,000,000 in gifts. Am I wrong? I just think there’s a double standard between guys gifting and girls gifting.”

At the end of the day, the two agree that gifts have been a huge part of their previous relationships. And, while Marcus did spend a lot on previous relationships, that is not the case anymore. After all, all he wants to do now is save money so that he can buy the “world” for Larsa.

Marcus Jordan went all out celebrating Larsa’s 49th birthday bash

Recently, Larsa Pippen celebrated her 49th birthday, and by her side was none other than Marcus Jordan. The two had a blast, jetting off to New York for dinner at Carbone, before returning to Miami for a blockbuster party at E11EVEN. They seemed to be having a great time, as Marcus shared all this and more on his Instagram story.

Through it all, Larsa seemed to be having a blast, as she celebrated her big day surrounded by her friends and family. And of course, the presence of her significant other, Marcus Jordan made for the perfect day.
