In the United States, the winner of every major sports league gets to visit the White House, where the President speaks kind words about them to the media. It has been a tradition upheld for some time now, especially made popular by Barack Obama, who trolled the Golden State Warriors during their visit in 2016. Following the same tradition, the NFL Champions, Kansas City Chiefs visited the White House to be honored in 2023. And seven years later to that Warriors troll, something similar happened as Travis Kelce couldn’t help but dive into his shenanigans, as Shaquille O’Neal shared.

President Obama had the Warriors in the White House in 2015. Being an avid basketball fan and from Chicago, he had his allegiances to a very specific franchise in the NBA. The Kansas City Chiefs famously won the 2023 Super Bowl. And so, per tradition, they were invited to the White House, this time with President Joe Biden at the helm.

After winning the 2022 NBA title, the Warriors were invited by Joe Biden to the White House. Everyone was in good spirits, and the franchise was even applauded for their incredible comeback. Stephen Curry was given his due credit as well, after consistently being the one to carry the team over the line during the 2022 playoffs.
