7 Years After Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson Got Trolled in The White House, Shaquille O’Neal Hilariously Shares Travis Kelce Taking Over President Biden’s Podium

In the United States, the winner of every major sports league gets to visit the White House, where the President speaks kind words about them to the media. It has been a tradition upheld for some time now, especially made popular by Barack Obama, who trolled the Golden State Warriors during their visit in 2016. Following the same tradition, the NFL Champions, Kansas City Chiefs visited the White House to be honored in 2023. And seven years later to that Warriors troll, something similar happened as Travis Kelce couldn’t help but dive into his shenanigans, as Shaquille O’Neal shared.

President Obama had the Warriors in the White House in 2015. Being an avid basketball fan and from Chicago, he had his allegiances to a very specific franchise in the NBA. And given the chance to troll Golden State perfectly, he created one of the most iconic sports pranks of all time. Take a look at what he did in the YouTube clip by Hoop Land.

The Kansas City Chiefs famously won the 2023 Super Bowl. And so, per tradition, they were invited to the White House, this time with President Joe Biden at the helm.

Biden addressed the public about his admiration of the greatness of Patrick Mahomes and his team. And just as he concluded, Travis Kelce felt a strong attraction towards the microphone. Watch what happened next, in the Instagram post by the NFL.

As mentioned prior, Shaquille O’Neal also shared this post on his Instagram story to share with his followers. Take a look at @NBACelebsUpdate’s tweet below.

The fact that Patrick Mahomes was so quick to act and take him away like a secret agent means that this kind of incident has happened before. Or, at the very least, he had likely announced his plans to his teammates.

Joe Biden forgot Klay Thompson’s name

After winning the 2022 NBA title, the Warriors were invited by Joe Biden to the White House. Everyone was in good spirits, and the franchise was even applauded for their incredible comeback. Stephen Curry was given his due credit as well, after consistently being the one to carry the team over the line during the 2022 playoffs.

While he was still recovering from his injury at the time, he had made ample contributions too, making key plays on both ends when called upon. And yet, when Biden went to congratulate him, he ended up embarrassing both the player and himself. Read all the details here.
