After Game 1 Disappointment, Ayesha Curry Showed Up to Game 2 With a Three-Word Message for Stephen Curry and Warriors

The Golden State Warriors hosted the Los Angeles Lakers for Game 2 tonight after a big loss in Game 1 on Tuesday. Anthony Davis and the Lakers came in and took away the Warriors’ Home-Court advantage with a 117-112 win. However, Stephen Curry and the Warriors showed up tonight to make sure they level things before heading to Los Angeles. Turns out, Ayesha Curry may have played a hand in the same too.

The Warriors meant business right from the start. Even though the Lakers came out guns blazing and took an early lead, the Warriors kept doing what they do best. They took a lead as large as 32 points. They ended the game with a 127-100 win to make things even at Chase Center.

In case you’re wondering what Ayesha said, look no further.

Ayesha Curry put up 3 words of encouragement for Stephen Curry and the Warriors

Heading into Game 2, the Warriors knew they needed to fix quite a few things. Watching them play tonight, I’d say they did just that. They took away the Lakers’ paint advantage, outscoring them 48-42 there. They took away the margin of the Free Throw advantage, getting their attempts to 16 and limiting the Lakers to just 17.

Stephen Curry had 20 points and 12 assists, shooting 7 of 12 from the field. Klay Thompson had a big night, scoring 30 points on 8 of 11 shooting from the distance. Klay hit some big shots, and Steph hit some crazy ones. At one point, he even had his dad, Dell Curry, in shock.

The incredible Warriors performance might be fueled by some encouragement shared by Ayesha Curry. She took it to her Instagram Stories and shared a picture from the 1st quarter, with the caption,

“Let’s go dubs!”

Either way, it’s a good charm for the Dubs whenever she puts up stories for them, as we saw in Game 7 against the Kings. While I don’t think she’ll travel to Los Angeles with Steph, we can be sure that she’d be watching the game(if her schedule permits it) and supporting her husband.

Who else was there to cheer on the Warriors?

The Warriors had a lot of love coming their way today. They had award-winning actress Zendaya there, along with her beau Tom Holland. Danny DeVito was there as well. There were 49ers stars CMC, Kittle, and Darnold showed up to support their local team as well.

There were four FC Barcelona players there too to show love to the defending champions.

The stars will flock in higher numbers when the series shifts to Los Angeles. Hopefully, the Warriors can keep up their game as they hit the road.
