‘Badass’ Jimmy Butler Spotted “Sipping Beer and Bobbing his Head” in the Locker Room After Game 3: "Stroking by Clarence Carter"

Jimmy Butler, who is the biggest reason why the Miami Heat are in a strong position in the Western Conference Semifinals, has had a terrific Playoff run thus far. Butler has a habit of coming up with the goods when it matters most, which apart from his skills is down to his mentality. Bally Sports reporter Jeremy Tache revealed details about his hilarious run-in with Butler after game 3 against the New York Knicks. Butler, who produced yet another big performance, celebrated the win in his own unique way.

Tache claimed he walked into Butler relaxing in the locker room while sipping a beer and grooving to a Clarence Carter classic. Tache claimed that Butler’s off-court energy is bound to be beneficial for his teammates, in addition to what he does on the court.

Jeremy Tache reveals hilarious details about Jimmy Butler’s post-game antics after game 3

Not too many NBA fans had expected the Miami Heat to energy out of their first-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks. While the Bucks surely shot themselves in the foot in multiple ways, it was their lack of response for Jimmy Butler that ultimately ended up costing them.

The same has been true with the New York Knicks thus far. Their solitary win thus far came in game 2 in the absence of Butler, who has been everywhere on the court despite having injury issues. Tache shared the story he narrated on the Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz on his Twitter account.

Considering the kind of determination and energy Butler shows in every game, fans can be forgiven to think that he would be exhausted after the game. However, according to Jeremy Tache, that does not seem to be the case at all:

“Jimmy Butler sitting, leaning his back, up against the locker room sitting on the floor, legs spread out, ice on his knees, sipping a beer, bobbing his head, to Stroke it, from Clarence Carter. It was an unbelievable visual. It was so bada**, to just see Jimmy Butler, by himself. Everytime the word stroke it came, he would go “stroke it.” It was sensational. That’s the energy that you have in the locker room that every player walks in to in the locker room.”\

Jimmy Butler continues to create history for the Miami Heat

Playoff Jimmy Butler is a different player, capable of single-handedly winning games for his team. Butler has already produced the highest individual tally in the playoffs for the Heat, with his 56 point-display in game 4 against the Bucks.

With that performance, 3 of the top-5, and 4 of the top 10 highest individual playoff scores for the Heat now belong to Jimmy Butler. At the same time, the fact is that Butler brings forth a level of tenacity and determination that the Heat severely lacks in his absence.

That, in addition to his clutch plays and the ability to raise his teammates’ games, makes him absolutely crucial for his team. The 33-year-old had injured his ankle in game 1 but ended up finishing the game and helping his team to a win. The 33-year-old sat out game 2 and returned to top-score for his team in game 3 despite not being fully fit.
